Welcome to Uplift '73 - Windber Non Profit Fund

Mission Statement:

Uplift '73 is a platform dedicated to promoting positive change in Windber and the surrounding communities. We believe in the power of collective action and are committed to making a real difference. Our team is comprised of passionate individuals who share a common goal - to uplift and empower our community.

This fund originates from the Windber High School Class of 1973 effort to provide funds for families in need in the Windber area along with Scholarships to Windber Area High School senior(s). Scholarships will be awarded on a need basis, with the criteria to be attached for the individual year.

As future funding needs are identified, the original fund contributors realize that the fund would be more effective if extended beyond the scope of a single high school graduating class. Including additional high school classes and community sources would provide greater resources. A nonprofit foundation has been created to this end.
